Nothing compares to the feeling that comes from knowing that you’ve brightened up someone’s day – especially when that someone is a vulnerable person. Guardian Homecare are recruiting for experienced support workers to work with a young adult with Learning Disabilities in Corringham (SS17)

Shifts will be 1 or 2 weeks on, 1 or 2 weeks off.

You must be a driver to enable the client to access the community.

At the request of the client, there is a genuine occupational requirement that only female applicants will be considered for this role.

  • Caring, compassionate and a good listener

  • Able to work under pressure and in stressful and challenging situations
  • Happy to offer support with a range of tasks, including personal care, seizure management, stoma care, catheter care, hoisting, preparing meals, administering medicine, shopping, social activities and light household duties
